Job description
- We are seeking a talented Embedded Software Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the verification, testing, integration, and development of software. You will also be tasked with upgrading code and conducting development testing, with a focus on shell scripting and automated setups., * Verify, test, and integrate software components.

- Utilize shell scripting and automated setups for verification purposes.
Requirements
- Experience walking through a minimum of 3 product lines.
- Experience with DO-178, or in the aerospace, defense, avionics, or aviation industries.
- Expertise in embedded software development (adding new features) and verification setups.
Additional Desired Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in PowerShell / shell scripting.
- Familiarity with power electronics and motor control.
- Knowledge of TMS (family of digital signal processors from Texas Instruments).
- Experience with Python, embedded C, embedded C++, and digital signal processors.
- Understanding of sensor and motorized valve systems, and high-power applications.
Benefits & conditions
This position is fully onsite in a large production facility with engineering offices located upstairs. The team operates with flexible hours, typically starting between 6:30 AM and 8:30 AM, with the requirement to work 8 hours each day. This long-term contract offers extensions every six months, with many team members enjoying extended tenures for years.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $75.00/hr.
