Job description
Drive the delivery of enterprise analytics and BI solutions by owning product strategy, backlog, and execution within Agile data teams.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Act as Product Owner within Agile/Scrum teams supporting data engineering and BI initiatives
- Translate business needs into user stories and actionable requirements
- Manage and prioritize product backlog focused on high-value analytics deliverables
- Lead Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, etc.)
- Partner with stakeholders to align on product vision, priorities, and outcomes
- Oversee development of dashboards, data pipelines, and analytics solutions
- Monitor team performance and remove blockers to ensure timely delivery
- Support product adoption through training materials, documentation, and communication
- Analyze data outputs to validate BI solutions and inform product decisions
Requirements
- 5 years of experience in Product Ownership within analytics or BI environments
- Strong background in data architecture and data pipelines
- Experience working with data engineering and BI teams
- Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with Python scripting
- Hands-on experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI)
- Experience working with Snowflake or similar cloud data platforms
- Strong communication skills with ability to translate vision into execution
- Experience driving team performance and delivery outcomes
- Solid project management skills across full product lifecycle
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience with AI/ML or data science initiatives
- Exposure to modern data architecture frameworks (e.g., medallion architecture)
- Experience supporting operational analytics (e.g., routing, logistics)
- Background in change management and user adoption strategies
