Job description
As a Consultant you will leverage your deep subject matter knowledge to bring solutions to clients with a focus on achieving a high level of performance and quality through delivery of both agile and traditional projects to provide exceptional business value to users. Working within an engagement team, your responsibilities include, among others:
- Delivering components of client engagements focused on identifying, designing, and implementing technology business solutions for large companies
- Leading small teams to identify business requirements, functional design, process design (including scenario design, flow mapping), prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures. Your background in technology will provide the foundation to manage these streams but also understand the technology
- Monitoring progress of the project, identify, and quantify variances, perform required corrective actions
- Identifying high-level risks, assumptions, and constraints. Implement approved actions and workarounds to minimize the impact of risks on the project
- Maintaining communication with key project stakeholders and decision makers

Requirements
Required:
- 3+ years of relevant professional consulting delivery experience in data engineering, data science, analytics engineering, or software engineering (experience level flexible based on role leveling)
- 2+ years consulting delivery experience with enterprise platforms and automation tools such as Oracle Fusion, APEX, OIC, and Fusion Analytics Warehouse (FAW) and hands-on experience with analytics, reporting, or integration tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Informatica, SAP BODS, OBIEE, ODI
- 1+ years experience leading project workstreams/engagements, translating business problems into AI & Data solutions, and delivering measurable outcomes
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Analytics, or a related field
- Ability to travel up to 50% on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
- Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
Preferred:
- Experience with advanced data architectures (ie: Multimodal data management & model design, Data Mesh, Data Fabric, Data Products, etc.)
- Experience with Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Service (AWS) and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Experience developing impactful collateral for client workshops and interactive customer sessions, driving alignment and actionable outcomes
- Experience presenting to both large and small audiences
- An advanced degree in the area of specialization

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $84,400 to $155,400.
