Job description

Clearance: TS/SCI with CI Polygraph Prime Gov Contractor is seeking a Systems Engineer - Principal to define and guide enterprise-level system-of-systems architectures across mission-critical programs. This position plays a key leadership role in developing frameworks, integration standards, and compliance strategies to ensure secure, scalable, and high-performance system delivery within classified environments. A Day in the Life: Define system-of-systems architectural frameworks and standards. Guide multi-layer integration and interoperability solutions. Advise on scalability, redundancy, and technology selection. Lead configuration audits and design reviews. Mentor architecture teams and support enterprise modernization. Ensure architecture meets operational and accreditation objectives. Define and maintain system requirements traceability. Develop interfaces for COLT integration, containerize Government-provided code (Meliorem), and ensure API compliance. Support deliverables: SWDS (E003), ADD (E038). What You Bring to the Table: MBSE/SysML, Advanced system modeling and simulation Requirements management (JIRA, Confluence) System baselining API design and governance Configuration management Enterprise architecture frameworks Cloud/hybrid integration Compliance with governmental processes and standards. What You Need

Requirements

Experience: 15-20 years of related professional experience supporting programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity. Education: Bachelor's degree in a related engineering discipline (e.g., Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or Computer Science). In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, two additional years of related experience may be substituted. A Master's degree may be substituted for two years of experience; a PhD may be substituted for four years of experience. Clearance: TS/SCI with CI Polygraph.
