Contract Enterprise Security Architect/Engineer

• Responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing the enterprise security architecture.
• Collaborates with IT, Risk, Ethics, and Compliance, Legal, business stakeholders, and vendors to establish scalable, secure, compliant, and user-friendly technology solutions that protect the organization and the clinics we serve from emerging threats.
• Continue to develop and maintain enterprise security architecture as we grow, ensuring alignment with business goals, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
• Architect and implement secure solutions which serve our clinics and their needs
• Define and maintain security reference architectures, diagrams, and standards.
• Conduct security risk assessments and threat modeling for new technologies, vendors, and client sites.
• Lead the design and deployment of these security controls
• Oversee secure configuration of existing systems

• Bachelor s degree or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of experience with a combination of enterprise security architecture and engineering
• Experience across M365 configurations and security review
• Experience with E5 security or similar such as Defender suite
• Hands-on scripting/development with Python and PowerShell
• Experience designing secure architectures for Azure cloud
• Experienced across Threat/Vulnerability management, Red teaming, Identity management, AI/ML, governance, PKI, DLP, security assessments, audit, assurance, GRC
• Hands-on experience with security tools (EDR/XDR, SIEM, IAM/MFA, DLP, firewalls, vulnerability management).
• Knowledge of network protocols, identity architectures, authentication, encryption, and zero trust principles.

Preferred

• Healthcare or financial services industry experience
• Strong understanding of HIPAA Security Rule, HITECH, and PHI protection requirements.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM
