Database Administrator

• Install, configure, manage, and maintain database systems in on-prem, cloud, or hybrid environments
• Ensure database performance, availability, reliability, and scalability
• Monitor databases and troubleshoot performance, capacity, and connectivity issues
• Manage database security, user access, roles, and permissions
• Perform database backups, restores, and disaster recovery planning
• Optimize queries, indexes, and database structures for performance and efficiency
• Apply patches, upgrades, and version updates with minimal downtime
• Implement data integrity, consistency, and quality standards
• Collaborate with developers, data engineers, and infrastructure teams to support applications
• Create and maintain documentation for database configurations, procedures, and standards

• 3-7 years of experience in a Database Administrator or Database Engineer role
• Strong experience managing relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar)
• Proficiency in database installation, configuration, upgrades, and patching
• Experience with database performance tuning, indexing, and query optimization
• Strong knowledge of backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies
• Experience managing database security, user access, roles, and permissions
• Familiarity with data integrity, replication, and high-availability solutions
• Experience supporting databases in on-prem, cloud, or hybrid environments
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
