A Mechanical Integration Engineer job opportunity is open with our client in Berkeley, Ca. In this role you will operate as an integration engineer to assist in the final stages of the product development cycle, prior to design release to supply chain / manufacturing. To be considered for this role you will have experience in electromechanical systems and have a BS in Mechanical Engineering., * Will operate as an integration engineer to assist in the final stages of the product development cycle, prior to design release to supply chain / manufacturing.
- Will work on 3D assemblies, may create simple mechanical parts or bring in vendor CAD, may assist in cable/hose routing, will create 2D assembly and part drawings.

- Will attend integration meetings and contractor manufacturer meetings as required.
- Will be assigned documentation tasks to assist in design release (to name a few- interface control documents, BOM clean-up, design review decks, spreadsheets to track systems and performance capabilities)
Requirements

Mechanical engineer with experience in electromechanical systems

7+ years

SolidWorks expert. 3D Assembly, 3D Routing, 2D drafting for assembly drawings and parts with GD&T

Prior experience with integration of complex mechanical / electromechanical systems.

BS Mechanical Engineering Nice to haves

Experience with high voltage (>400V) DC or AC

Experience with DFMA reviews

Experience with contract manufacturers
