Requirements
We are seeking an experienced Database Architect to lead the design, development, and strategic direction of enterprise database technologies. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in database architecture, performance optimization, high availability, and multi-platform database environments. Must Have Skills: Strong database architecture/design experience in Oracle or SQL Server Also open to experience with PostgreSQL, MariaDB, MySQL, Snowflake, or MongoDB 7+ years of database administration/architecture experience Experience leading technical initiatives in enterprise database environments Strong performance tuning, availability, scalability, and maintainability expertise, Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience) Experience with 3 or more of the following: Oracle Microsoft SQL Server PostgreSQL MariaDB MySQL Snowflake MongoDB Experience with automated database maintenance processes Windows Server and/or Unix/Linux environments Backup & recovery tools and disaster recovery concepts High availability and replication solutions Cloud database technologies ETL / ELT tools and data integration technologies Ability to work independently and across multiple teams Preferred Skills: Leadership and mentoring experience Strong communication and documentation skills Strategic thinking and problem-solving mindset
