Network Engineer (Technology Specialist III)...

We are seeking a Network Engineer (Technology Specialist III) to join our dynamic team on-site three days / two days a week remotely at Mount Sinai Health System. The candidate should be a Network Subject Matter Expert, who will play a crucial role in the design, implementation, and support of our Enterprise Campus and Cloud Environment, ensuring the stability, reliability, and performance of our environment.

• Bachelors degree in a technical discipline; Masters degree preferred .

• 8 years minimum experience (higher preferred), 12 years of related experience, including a demonstrated ability in technology area. In-depth knowledge of associated technology areas that could impact area of responsibility; healthcare technology experience preferred.

• Preferred Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or equivalent certification in networking.

• Minimum of 6 years of experience as an Enterprise Network Engineer strongly preferred.

• Strong expertise in designing, implementing, and supporting Enterprise and Cloud networks.

• Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve complex network issues.

• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with industry trends and best practices., + Working knowledge in switch and routing protocols, Extensible LAN (VXLAN), Multicast, BGP, EIGRP, Spanning Tree, etc.

• Hardware knowledge of Catalyst and Nexus Platforms, Fabric Extenders.

• Working knowledge of Cloud Architecture with a focus on networking including Azure Express Route, AWS Direct Connection and OCI FastConnect

• Ability to design, implement, support, and maintain Enterprise Campus, Data Center and Cloud Networks

Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides a salary range to comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $113011.58 - $202155 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
