Python Engineer

A technology company building modern backend infrastructure is looking for a Software Engineer to join a lean, product-driven engineering team. This is a hands-on role where you will own projects end-to-end, write production-grade code from day one, and make decisions that tie directly to business outcomes. You will work closely with product and design, moving fast while holding a high bar for code quality, scalability, and simplicity. • Design and build scalable backend APIs, services, and infrastructure that support production workloads
• Collaborate across the stack with product and design to move quickly and ship features with quality
• Write clean, maintainable code and contribute to technical documentation
• Participate in code reviews, architectural design discussions, and retrospectives
• Solve real customer problems under real constraints with simple, durable solutions

• Strong coding fundamentals in at least one modern language such as Python, Go, or Rust
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems
• Familiarity with REST APIs, SQL and NoSQL databases, and cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP
• A bias toward ownership, intellectual curiosity, and asking the questions others skip
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and ship clean solutions to complex problems
