Job description

  • Design and implement effective security solutions for endpoint devices, such as laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and servers.

  • Analyze the security requirements of the organization and design solutions to meet those needs.

  • Collaborate with other IT professionals to ensure that all endpoint devices are secure and protected from potential threats.

  • Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and standards related to endpoint security.

  • Conduct risk assessments to identify potential security weaknesses and provide solutions to vulnerability scan findings.

  • Provide guidance and recommendations for improving the overall security posture of the organization.

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in endpoint security and recommend new technologies and tools as needed.

  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices related to endpoint security

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, a related field or equivalent work experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in endpoint management and/or security architecture.

  • Strong understanding of endpoint security technologies, including anti-virus, anti-malware, firewalls, and intrusion detection and prevention systems.

  • Experience with endpoint management tools, such as Microsoft SCCM, Intune, or JAMF.

  • Experience with third-party enterprise portals / workforce systems and tools from Apple - Apple Business Manager and Google Workspace.

  • Knowledge of network security, encryption, application privilege management, and authentication technologies.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ideally, you'll also have:

  • Relevant certifications, such as Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate

  • Experience with Linux endpoint management and/or security management.

  • Experience with Privileged Access Management tools, such as BeyondTrust, etc.

  • Experience with Citrix virtual desktop environments and / or Microsoft Azure endpoint security.

  • Experience with other cloud providers (AWS, GCP) is a plus.

  • Experience with the application of CIS Benchmark assessments and administration of CIS-CAT Pro (significantly desired)
