Job description
Our client seeks a UI Full Stack Engineer to build best-in-class web experiences for financial planning and advice. You will develop end-to-end features, shape digital experiences, and contribute to cloud-native platforms using Angular, NodeJS, Java, and AWS. The role requires strong testing discipline, CI/CD proficiency, and collaboration in agile teams to deliver scalable, reliable solutions., * Develop best-in-class web user experiences and supporting platforms.
- Build end-to-end features within autonomous, cross-functional teams.
- Own features from concept through deployment.
- Design, build, and support mission-critical enterprise applications.
- Define product solutions in partnership with business and product teams.
- Promote and uphold good engineering practices and standards.
- Navigate new technologies and cloud-based deployments to deliver business value.
- Drive continuous process improvement initiatives.
- Perform code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing using open-source frameworks.
- Lead process and technology improvement initiatives.
- Stay current with engineering trends and bring applicable practices to the team.
- Mentor junior team members.
Requirements
Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance., * 5+ years with modern MV*/SPA frameworks and tooling, including Angular, JavaScript/TypeScript, Node, NPM, HTML/CSS, and RxJS.
- Hands-on API design and development with microservices architecture using Java, REST, NodeJS, and Swagger.
- Experience with test automation using Selenium, Cucumber, Cypress, or Playwright, covering unit, integration, and functional tests.
- Advocacy for Test-Driven Development and unit testing with frameworks such as Jest and Jasmine.
- Proficiency with AWS services for deploying and managing applications.
- Experience working in Agile environments both collaboratively and independently.
- Ability to troubleshoot production issues using tools such as Splunk and Datadog.
- Hands-on CI/CD experience with tools such as Jenkins, Artifactory, uDeploy, and GitHub.
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Proven technical design, development, analysis, and problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to learning new technologies and frameworks.
- Experience implementing microservices architectures and building scalable, maintainable, and automated infrastructure.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's or master's degree, or equivalent, in Computer Science or Engineering.
