Job description

  • You will be responsible for all engineering activities on a specified project or group of projects in the Nuclear industry.
  • You will manage a multi-disciplined team of engineers, from requirements, hardware, software, mechanical and CAD Engineers.
  • You will initiate, oversee and lead all engineering activities on a contract or group of contracts with the support of other engineering staff.
  • You will map out how complex systems will be used to deliver projects and meet industry best practices and the latest regulations.
  • You will explore how new technologies can be used to make breakthroughs and streamline the team's work.
  • You will support the Engineering Manager in creating a long-term strategy for the senior engineering team which will give them the best chance of success.

Where will you be doing it? Our client is privately owned System Integrator whose team of engineers is at the heart of everything they do. They have direct experience of working on control and functional safety system projects across the nuclear industry.

Requirements

  • You will need at least 10 years of either Electrical, Software and Control System engineering development experience with demonstrable experience of leading teams in a project environment with a proven track record of delivering successful systems.
  • You must be eligible for UK security clearance and a British passport holder
