Job description

We are seeking an experienced Lead Security Architect to play a pivotal role in driving Microsoft Security solutions across large-scale enterprise engagements. This is a senior leadership position combining technical expertise, sales engagement, solution design, and delivery oversight.

This role sits at the heart of a high-growth Microsoft-focused security practice, working on complex transformation programmes across major UK and global clients.

Role Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and delivery of Microsoft Security solutions across enterprise clients
  • Own solutioning and support sales engagements, including large-scale presales opportunities (£3m-£6m+)
  • Define and evolve go-to-market offerings and security capabilities
  • Provide technical leadership across delivery teams, ensuring successful implementation
  • Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders, clients, and partners
  • Act as a thought leader in Microsoft Security, both internally and externally
  • Drive capability development, including skills, certifications, and team growth

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in Microsoft Security across Defender, Sentinel, Entra, Purview, and cloud security
  • Strong background in both presales and delivery within enterprise environments
  • Proven ability to lead large-scale security transformation programmes
  • Experience shaping and building new security offerings
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence at executive level
  • Advanced Microsoft security certifications (e.g. SC-100, SC-200)
  • Experience working within complex, matrixed organisations

Desirable

  • Industry certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, CISM or similar
  • Knowledge of compliance frameworks (e.g. GDPR, ISO27001, NIST)
