{"description": " The Data Operations Group (Data Ops), part of Fitch's Chief Data Office (CDO), is seeking a Senior Data Feed Analyst for our London office. Join Fitch Group's Chief Data Office (CDO) as a Senior Data Feed Analyst within the Data Operations team. The team is responsible for sourcing, ingesting, validating, and managing largescale financial and economic data across banking, insurance, corporate, and public finance sectors. This data underpins Fitch's analytical platforms and client-facing products across Fitch Ratings and Fitch Solutions. As a Senior Data Feed Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring data feeds are accurate, complete, well-governed, and delivered on time. You will work closely with analysts, product teams, and Agile delivery squads to maintain and enhance inbound data pipelines, while actively contributing to the migration of legacy processes into Python-based automated workflows. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, strong data-handling skills, and a mindset focused on quality, testing, and continuous improvement. It is an excellent opportunity to contribute directly to the modernisation of Fitch's data infrastructure and operational processes. We'll Count on You To: Maintain and develop inbound data feed processes, including extracting, standardising, validating, and loading large data files into internal databases Perform rigorous data quality checks at multiple stages of the pipeline to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness Design, implement, and enhance automated feed processes, with a strong focus on migrating legacy Excel/VBA workflows to Python-based solutions Identify, analyse and resolve data issues Gather requirements and manage stakeholder expectations throughout data projects Create, maintain, and improve feed documentation, process definitions, and operational runbooks Identify and onboard new data feed sources to expand data coverage and improve efficiency Contribute to ad hoc data manipulation projects as required Collaborate closely with ratings analysts, data specialists, and product teams to ensure timely, accurate, and well-governed data delivery What You Need to Have: Strong experience working with large datasets, including validation, transformation, and reconciliation Advanced Excel skills and working knowledge of VBA, with the ability to debug and make changes in legacy data workflows Python proficiency (compulsory), including experience or strong capability in using Python to manipulate data and modernise existing processes Understanding of data governance principles, including data quality controls, documentation standards, and workflow discipline Proven ability to identify, implement, and document process improvements, particularly around automation and operational efficiency Strong attention to detail, with a methodical and test-driven approach to data processing Excellent communication, organisational, and administration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment What Would Make You Stand Out: Experience working with financial statement or fundamental financial data Working knowledge of SQL, or strong willingness to learn Exposure to APIs, web-scraping Positive attitude and enthusiasm for problem solving Why Fitch?
