A successful and well-regarded secondary school in Enfield is seeking to appoint an experienced, organised, and forward-thinking Data Manager to join its dedicated support staff team from September 2026.
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled school data professional to play a key role in supporting whole-school improvement through the effective management, analysis, and reporting of student data. The role would suit an experienced Data Manager or an ambitious data professional ready to take the next step within a supportive and high-achieving school environment.
The successful candidate will lead on all aspects of data management, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting across the school.
The Opportunity
The successful candidate will:
- Lead and manage the school's data systems, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance
- Maintain and develop the school MIS system, including SIMS or equivalent platforms
- Oversee student data including admissions, attendance, behaviour, assessment, and census returns
- Produce accurate reports and analysis for Senior Leadership, Governors, and Heads of Department
- Support academic tracking, progress monitoring, and intervention planning
- Manage reporting cycles, assessment data drops, and parent reporting processes
- Ensure compliance with GDPR and data protection procedures
- Work closely with pastoral, curriculum, and leadership teams to improve outcomes through data insight
- Provide training and support to staff on the use of school data systems
- Contribute to the strategic development of data systems and whole-school processes
Requirements

- Have previous experience working as a Data Manager or within school data administration
- Have strong experience using SIMS or other school MIS systems
- Possess advanced Excel and data analysis skills
- Have excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail
- Can manage multiple deadlines and reporting cycles effectively
- Understand school performance data, census returns, and compliance requirements
- Communicate confidently with staff at all levels
- Are proactive, professional, and solution-focused
- Have the legal right to work in the UK
