As the Integration & Development Team Lead, you will be responsible for guiding a small team of developers, ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality integrations and interface enhancements. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate these into clear, detailed specifications for your team. This role requires a balance of leadership and hands-on technical ability. You will carry out analysis, design and technical specification work, while also contributing directly to development activities when required., Key Activities will include: ️ Lead and support a small development or integration team, providing direction, mentoring and technical guidance. ️ Work with business and technical stakeholders to gather and analyse requirements. ️ Produce detailed technical designs, specifications and documentation for new and existing interfaces. ️ Oversee the delivery of integration solutions, ensuring they are robust, scalable and aligned to architectural standards. ️ Contribute to hands-on development activities, particularly for complex or high impact work. ️ Drive best practice across the team, including coding standards, quality assurance and continuous improvement. ️ Collaborate with wider IT teams to ensure successful deployment and ongoing support of integrations.
Requirements
We are looking for an experienced and proactive Integration & Development Team Lead to join our technology function. This role is ideal for someone who has previously led a small development or integration team and is confident working across multiple technologies., The ideal candidate will have a development background and experience working across multiple development platforms. You will be comfortable leading others while remaining technically engaged. Essential experience: ️ Previous experience leading a small development or integration team. ️ Strong analytical and design skills, with the ability to translate requirements into clear technical specifications. ️ Hands-on development experience using a range of platforms and tools. ️ Experience delivering and supporting system integrations or interfaces. ️ Azure Integration Services and / or MuleSoft or similar enterprise integration platforms. ️ API design and development. ️ CI/CD, DevOps practices and modern development pipelines.
