Venteon is currently seeking an experienced Applications Engineer to fill an opening with a manufacturing company located in the Metro Detroit area. The ideal candidates should have experience dealing with internal as well as customer teams. Background in fluid systems is ideal., * Ability to organize and take the lead on the Application Engineering of products and

• programs in order to meet company goals and objectives.
• Serve customers by identifying their needs; engineering adaptations of products, and
• services.
• Technical interface with customer to develop production feasible solutions for various
• tubing/fluid systems applications
• Technical interfaces with design, manufacturing plants, testing, sales, program
• management, purchasing and suppliers
• Development and implementation of creative cost-effective solutions to technical,
• performance, quality and durability problems discovered during development of new
• products
• Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) & Product Launch of new assemblies.
• New product design reviews
• Development of process flows
• DFMEA & PFMEA
• Bill of Material generation

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• 5-10yrs of experience in fluid system processing and equipment
• Experience with HVAC systems and fuel systems
• Automotive Industry Experience
• CAD skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Effective time management, organization and multi-tasking skills.
