Informatica Powercenter Developer

Assist in preparing technical design specifications based on functional requirements and analysis documents.

• Review functional requirements, analysis, and design documents, providing constructive feedback.
• Participate in architecture, design, and code reviews as part of the development process.
• Develop and maintain operational and system-level documentation.
• Complete secure code training annually, adhering to requirements from relevant regulatory bodies (USDA RMA, PCI DSS, NY DFS, FFIEC, CIS, NIST, etc.), following established guidelines like OWASP.
• Develop using Informatica PowerCenter, including designing and developing workflows, deploying to production, and scripting file management for integration.

Support Informatica in medium/large operating environments, with 5+ years of relevant experience.

• Utilize SQL (4+ years) to develop, modify, troubleshoot, and optimize complex queries and stored procedures.
• Apply deep knowledge of relational/dimensional data modeling, mapping, integration, migration, and warehousing.
• Design and implement ETL solutions with effective, optimized performance, including job recovery, failover, logging, and alerting mechanisms.
• (Preferred) Possess development experience in Java, J2EE, database building, SQL scripting, and management (DB2, SQL, PL/SQL, JDBC, mapping and workflow tools).
• (Preferred) Experience developing with Azure Data Factory.
• (Preferred) Background in the banking and insurance industry.
