Job description

Oversee day-to-day information system security operations including hardware and software implementations.

  • Carry out technical administration of IS in accordance with internal LM and customer security requirements, primarily Risk Management Framework (RMF).
  • Upkeep, monitor, analyze, and respond to network and security events.
  • Document compliance actions within the approved automated compliance tracking system or develop a plan of actions and milestones (POA&M) with the Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) to address non-compliance in the allotted time frame.
  • Ensure systems are operated, maintained, and disposed of in accordance with internal security policies and practices outlined in the security plan.
  • Balance competing priorities in support of customer requirements and program success.
  • Manage closure of vulnerabilities and audit user activities on the systems.

Requirements

Top Secret security clearance with ability to obtain SCI Eligibility and Polygraph.

  • DoD 8570 IAM Level III certification.

  • Hands-on experience with industry standard Information Assurance tools.

  • Technical familiarity with Windows or UNIX-based operating systems, and their security requirements. Desired Skills:

  • Experience working with ICD requirements, RMF implementation.

  • Experience with industry standard Information Assurance tools such as STIG Viewer, Nessus, and Splunk.

  • Experience performing; security system hardening, analysis, vulnerability management, DISA STIGs.

  • Experience applying ICD 503 using the JSIG or NIST 800-53 on diverse computing platforms.

  • Prior Information System Security Engineer (ISSE) or System Administration experience.

  • Current certifications in Security+, CCNA, CISSP, or others related to Networking and Cybersecurity.

  • Prior experience with Windows or Linux Operating Systems. Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Clearance Level: TS/SCI w/Poly, Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

This position will perform duties as a Classified Cybersecurity Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) for systems located at the LM Space facility in Valley Forge PA.
