- Design, develop, test, and maintain Oracle APEX applications.
- Support and enhance PeopleSoft-related applications and integrations.
- Write and optimize PL/SQL scripts, stored procedures, packages, and database objects.
- Work with Oracle Database tools and development utilities such as SQL Developer or similar IDEs.
- Develop user interfaces using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, jQuery, and AJAX.
- Troubleshoot application, interface, and database issues.
- Collaborate with functional teams, business users, and technical stakeholders.
- Ensure solutions meet security, performance, and compliance requirements.
- Support documentation, code reviews, and deployment activities.
Requirements
Role Overview: We are seeking an Oracle APEX Developer with PeopleSoft experience to support the design, development, enhancement, and maintenance of enterprise applications in a secure government environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Oracle APEX, PeopleSoft, PL/SQL, and Oracle database technologies, along with strong problem-solving and communication skills. This type of Washington, DC role commonly emphasizes secure government work and full lifecycle application development., * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field preferred.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- 3-6 years of experience in Oracle APEX development.
- Experience with PeopleSoft applications or PeopleSoft integration support.
- Strong experience with Oracle PL/SQL and relational database concepts.
- Knowledge of Oracle database objects, queries, and performance tuning basics.
- Hands-on experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and jQuery.
- Experience working in secure or government environments.
- Ability to work onsite in Washington, DC, if required.
- Active clearance or ability to obtain and maintain clearance.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with PeopleTools, Application Engine, SQR, or Integration Broker.
- Exposure to Oracle Forms, Reports, or Oracle EBS.
- Experience with REST/SOAP APIs and system integrations.
- Familiarity with agile development practices.

Benefits & conditions
Compensation at DXC is influenced by an array of factors, including but not limited to the experience, job-related knowledge, skills, competencies, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position is $121,300 - $225,300.
