Job description
We are currently seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to support Morae's mission-critical, global infrastructure. This is a hands-on role responsible for ensuring the stability, reliability, and performance of enterprise platforms across a 24/7 environment. The role requires strong technical ownership across servers, virtualization, storage, and networking, with the ability to operate independently while aligning with leadership priorities., * Maintain and operate enterprise infrastructure across Windows Server, Linux, VMware, storage, and networking environments to ensure performance, stability, and security
- Perform troubleshooting, upgrades, and routine system maintenance across global infrastructure platforms
- Manage VMware environments including vCenter and ESXi hosts, supporting provisioning, migrations, snapshots, backups, and clustering
- Support disaster recovery operations using VMware Live Recovery Manager and enterprise backup solutions
- Configure, support, and troubleshoot Cisco networking environments, including switching, routing, firewalls, and Layer 2/3 connectivity
- Operate and manage enterprise storage platforms such as Pure Storage and Dell Isilon / PowerScale, ensuring performance, capacity monitoring, and failover readiness
- Act as a senior escalation point for critical incidents, leading troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolution of infrastructure issues
- Coordinate and execute patching cycles and vulnerability remediation in partnership with cybersecurity teams
- Provide hands-on datacenter support including hardware installs, replacements, cabling, and troubleshooting as required
- Maintain operational discipline with a focus on uptime, service continuity, and delivery, producing documentation where needed
Requirements
- 3+ years of hands-on enterprise infrastructure experience in production environments
- Strong troubleshooting capabilities across compute, storage, and networking domains
- Experience administering Windows Server and Linux systems
- Proven experience supporting VMware vSphere / vCenter environments
- Experience with enterprise storage platforms such as Pure Storage and Dell Isilon / PowerScale (2+ years)
- Strong Layer 2 / Layer 3 networking knowledge, including Cisco switching, routing, and firewalls (3+ years)
- Bachelor's or postgraduate degree in Information Technology, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience
Preferred Experience/Skills:
- Experience with scripting or automation tools such as PowerShell, Python, Ansible, Puppet, or Chef
- Relevant certifications such as Microsoft (MCSA/MCSE), Cisco (CCNA/CCNP), VMware (VCP), or similar
