Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience developing software in production environments using modern programming languages and frameworks
  • 7+ years of experience building and maintaining applications with C# and .NET
  • Demonstrated experience providing technical leadership for a team or project, including guiding design decisions and code quality
  • Ability to design and support scalable, high-performance, and resilient systems that meet demanding business needs
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to analyze complex scenarios and deliver practical solutions
  • 1-2 years or more of Schwab Technology domain experience gained as a current or recent contractor or employee is a must.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Working experience with IBM MQ, Kafka, Aerospike (NoSQL) database, Splunk (logging), JSON/XML, PCF (Cloud), Caching, Performance Analysis & Profiling, Twelve-Factor App Methodology, Resiliency Patterns, Observability Patterns, Agile Practices etc.
  • Ability to evaluate user and system requirements, clarify objectives, and communicate technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical partners
  • Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs to enable reliable system integration
  • Experience working with relational and document-based databases
  • Experience with messaging, streaming, or event-driven architecture
