Job description

The Salesforce Application Administrator is responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing the organization's Salesforce applications within a DevOps-driven IT environment. This role ensures the stability, compliance, and performance of Salesforce systems while supporting continuous integration, deployment, and automation practices. Responsibilities: System Administration: Manage Salesforce user accounts, roles, profiles, and permissions to ensure secure and efficient access. DevOps Integration: Support CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, and version control for Salesforce applications. Configuration & Maintenance: Perform routine system configuration, updates, and troubleshooting to maintain optimal performance. Compliance & Security: Ensure Salesforce applications adhere to organizational data privacy standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOX). Monitoring & Reporting: Track system health, performance metrics, and generate compliance/audit reports. Collaboration: Work closely with developers, project managers, and business stakeholders to align Salesforce functionality with organizational needs. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, automate administrative tasks, and enhance DevOps practices. Vendor & License Management: Coordinate with Salesforce and third-party vendors to manage licenses, upgrades, and integrations.

Requirements

Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience). Salesforce Administrator certification preferred Experience: 3 years experience as a Salesforce Administrator or Application Administrator in an IT environment. Familiarity with DevOps tools (e.g., Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Bitbucket) and CI/CD practices. Strong knowledge of Salesforce architecture, configuration, and security best practices. Experience with compliance frameworks and data privacy regulations. Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills. Skills: Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously in a fast- paced environment. Collaborative mindset with cross-functional teams. Commitment to continuous improvement and innovation in DevOps practices. Exceptional attention to detail required. This is a Contract position based out of Holt, MI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $60.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
