Full Stack Engineer

We're looking for a Full Stack Engineer to help build the operating system for the next generation of insurance. This isn't feature work on a mature product - it's foundational engineering where your code ships to production and generates business value the same week you write it.

You'll own the full stack: interfaces our team and clients use, backend systems powering quoting and policy management, and the AI layer that automates what used to take hours. You'll work directly with leadership - no committees, no approval chains.

What You'll Do

• Build and own features end-to-end, from UI to database to deployment
• Design internal tools, automations, and AI workflows that eliminate manual processes
• Integrate with carrier APIs, agency management systems (Applied Epic), and payment platforms
• Shape technical architecture and engineering culture from the ground up
• Ship meaningful features in days, not months

• You're a technical generalist comfortable across frontend, backend, and infrastructure
• You've shipped production code real users depend on
• You use AI coding tools (Cursor, Claude, Copilot) to move faster, not as a crutch
• You think in outcomes: "cut placement time 40%" not "refactored the module"
• You have 2-6 years of software engineering experience, * 2+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong Python or TypeScript; you pick up new tools fast
• Experience with React/Next.js, Node.js, and PostgreSQL (or similar)
• Can own features from concept to production independently
• US-based

• Insurance, fintech, or regulated-industry experience
• Prior startup experience
• API integration experience with third-party platforms
