Job description

  • Work with key stakeholders to define the project scope, timelines, objectives and track budget, deliverables, risks/issues and project status
  • Manages the entire project lifecycle from project definition through implementation.
  • Accountable for meeting agreed upon scope, cost, schedule and quality measures.
  • Develops project plan and drives project milestones.
  • Establishes effective communication plan with project team and key stakeholders.
  • Provides day-to-day direction to project resources.
  • Ensures effective change management occurs throughout the course of the project.
  • Responsible for preparation of documentation, status reports and budgets.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of proven experience as a Scrum Master leading a software development team diligently applying Scrum principles, practices, and theory, and knowledge of additional Agile approaches (Scaled Agile, Kanban, Release Train Engineer, etc.)
  • Experience managing application development projects
  • Experience managing projects for mainframe applications and managing projects transitioning from mainframe to other technology solutions (client/server, SAAS etc)
  • Advanced experience with Jira
  • Experience transitioning from Waterfall to Agile paired with strong Agile background specifically SCRUM
  • Must have capability to flex across Scrum Master, Project Manager and Program Manager roles
  • No job hoppers (most contracts should be a year plus)
  • Excellent communication skills and very consultative
  • Experience writing requirement documentations - You will be required to write project documentation and be able to speak to the requirements with the business., * Prior experience managing transportation, logistics, or asset management projects, Must be authorized to work in the US. Sponsorships are not available.

This is a 6 month contract opportunity with high possibility of extension every 6 months. This position is hybrid. You will be required to be in office 3 days a week.
