Dev & Test - Software Development Engineer 3

We are seeking a Software Development Engineer to join a team responsible for developing a Linux-based validation operating system. This role supports the validation of System-on-a-Chip (SoC) compute products for large-scale cloud platforms. The position involves applying principles of computer science and mathematical analysis to the design, development, testing, and evaluation of software and systems., * Contribute to cloud-based validation initiatives by building and connecting tools and utilities.

• Support product validation efforts leveraging cloud infrastructure.
• Manage and support security-related work items and integrations tied to cloud-based solutions.
• Modify existing databases and database management systems.
• Write and code logical and physical database descriptions.
• Work as part of a project team to coordinate database development and determine project scope.
• Review project requests describing database user needs to estimate time and cost required.
• Troubleshoot issues and make system changes as needed to resolve them.

Education: A bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a relevant field is required.

Experience: 5-7 years of relevant experience is required.

Technical Skills:

• A completed Azure Security Certification is mandatory upon submission.
• Knowledge of the full software development lifecycle, from analysis to delivery.
• Proficiency with computer development software, such as SQL.
• General knowledge of computer hardware and software.

Preferred Qualifications

• Python development experience is preferred.
