Senior System Engineer

Lumicity is partnered with a leading aerospace start up in El Segundo. Looking for a Senior Systems Engineer to own end-to-end architecture and integration of a cutting-edge remote-sensing space mission. You'll act as the end-to-end technical authority across payload, spacecraft, launch, ground systems, and mission operations - driving system integration, performance, and reliability to ensure successful deployment and sustained on-orbit operations.

• 12+ years in spacecraft or remote-sensing systems engineering
• Strong experience with system architecture, requirements, and integration/testing
• Deep knowledge of spacecraft subsystems (GN&C, ADCS, power, thermal, avionics, TT&C, propulsion, OBDH)
• Experience with mission analysis and modeling (SNR/radiometric budgets, link budgets, pointing/jitter, data throughput)
• Proven leadership across complex, cross-functional engineering teams

Nice to have:

• Experience with EO/IR, hyperspectral, or SAR systems; modeling tools (Python/MATLAB); startup or rapid development environments
