Systems Engineer in Hampshire

Are you excited by complex technical challenges? Do you want to work with cutting-edge technology that plays a critical role in protecting lives and supporting national security?, As a Systems Engineer, you will contribute to a range of research, development, test and evaluation activities across multi-disciplinary science and engineering projects. You'll support the development of airborne anti-submarine warfare systems, working closely with technical teams and customers to deliver high-integrity, mission-critical capability.

Day-to-day, you'll be part of a collaborative engineering team designing, testing and refining complex systems that push the boundaries of innovation.

Applying systems or software engineering lifecycle principles to challenging defence problems

Using rapid-prototyping to influence and validate system design

Collaborating with a dynamic engineering team while taking ownership of individual tasks

Supporting delivery of acoustic systems requiring sensor and aircraft simulation using high-fidelity test signals

Contributing hands-on technical expertise to deliver advanced, mission-winning solutions

Essential Experience

Understanding of the Systems and/or Software Engineering lifecycle

Previous experience working within a Systems Engineering environment

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team

Essential Qualifications

Degree in Physics, Maths, Oceanography, Electronics, or a relevant engineering discipline
