Job description
Lead functional ownership of the Workday platform for assigned domains, partnering with HR/Finance stakeholders to translate business strategy into scalable Workday solutions. Drive end-to-end delivery across the Workday lifecycle (discovery, design, configuration, testing, deployment and hypercare), ensuring best-practice adoption, strong governance, and measurable business outcomes.
Requirements
8 15 years of Workday functional experience with deep expertise in one or more modules (e.g., HCM, Absence, Time Tracking, Benefits, Payroll, Talent/Recruiting, Compensation, Security, or Financials). Workday certification(s) in relevant functional area(s) preferred; experience supporting Workday releases and change management strongly desired. Strong functional configuration skills across business processes, security roles/domains, calculated fields, condition rules, validations, and reporting; able to work effectively with Integration/Extend teams when technical components are required. Person specification: Excellent oral and written communication. Analytical and problem-solving skills. Demonstrated ownership: able to lead workstreams independently, manage priorities, and guide stakeholders to decisions. Broad understanding of information technology topics. Effective interpersonal skills and collaborative management style to include teamwork and team building ability. Comfortable with ambiguity and time spent outside of comfort zone acquiring new skills. Flexible in a fast-paced dynamic environment with shifting roles and responsibilities. Technically creative and open-minded.
