Senior Scala / Java Developer

• Participate in client meetings and translate business requirements into technical specifications
• Produce detailed technical documentation and accurate effort estimations
• Conduct peer code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across the full delivery lifecycle
• Take ownership of your deliverables from development through to production

• 5+ years with Scala and Java (Java 1.4 to 1.6 server-side development)
• 5+ years with multithreading and collections
• 5+ years with Spring Framework
• 2+ years with Hibernate
• 2+ years with JMS (Java Message Service)
• 2+ years with OSGi

This is a hands-on engineering role where you will be working directly with the client, contributing to a large-scale modernization of their core technology platform across one of the most complex and demanding environments in the investment management industry.
