Requirements
- PhD + 2 years of relevant experience, OR Master's + 5 years of relevant experience, OR strong startup experience shipping 3D technologies
- Direct, hands-on experience with 3D reconstruction (self-driving, robotics, AR/VR, or mapping)
- Solid grounding in 3D fundamentals: camera models, multi-view geometry, point clouds, meshes, SDFs
- Working familiarity with neural splatting (Gaussian Splatting, NeRF-family methods) and modern neural rendering
- Strong software engineering fundamentals - comfortable owning systems in production
- Proficient in Python and willing to work in TypeScript on AWS
Preferred qualifications
- Experience at a self-driving car company, robotics company, or 3D-focused startup

About the company
We're hiring a Senior Computer Vision Engineer to lead our 3D work - reconstruction, neural rendering, and the production systems that bring them to life. You'll work with real-world sensor data, modern techniques like Gaussian Splatting, and have real scope to shape both our research direction and the systems we ship.
This is a senior, hands-on role for someone who's lived inside 3D systems before - ideally at a self-driving car company, robotics startup, or another team pushing 3D reconstruction into the real world. If you're equally comfortable reading a neural rendering paper and shipping production code, you'll feel at home here.
What you'll do
* Design and build 3D reconstruction pipelines from real-world sensor data
* Work with neural splatting (Gaussian Splatting) and neural rendering methods alongside classical 3D techniques
* Solve hard problems across calibration, multi-view geometry, optimization, and rendering at scale
* Move research-grade prototypes into reliable production systems
* Contribute across our stack in TypeScript, Python, and AWS
