Job description
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior LabVIEW/Systems Engineer to join our engineering team. This role is ideal for an experienced engineer who can architect, develop, and maintain advanced automated test and control systems that support our various programs. You will be a part of the team and provide expertise in the design and implementation of hardware/software integrated systems, focusing on reliability, scalability, and compliance with industry and government standards., System Design & Development
- Architect and develop scalable automated test and measurement systems using NI LabVIEW and associated hardware platforms (PXI, cRIO, DAQ, FPGA, etc.).
- Integrate hardware and software for control, data acquisition, and system monitoring.
- Lead system-level design reviews, documentation, and requirements definition.
Project Execution & Leadership
- Serve as a technical lead for system development projects.
- Manage multiple priorities, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on best practices.
Testing & Validation
- Develop automated test sequences, simulation models, and data acquisition workflows.
- Conduct system verification, troubleshooting, and optimization.
- Ensure systems comply with industry standards, government regulations, and customer requirements.
Continuous Improvement
- Champion best practices in system engineering, coding standards, and configuration management.
- Recommend improvements in test architecture, reliability, and maintainability.
- Stay current with new NI tools, LabVIEW frameworks, and test automation technologies.
- Any other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field (Master's ).
- 7+ years of experience developing automated systems with LabVIEW (Certified LabVIEW Developer or Architect ).
- Proven experience with system integration, hardware/software co-design, and automated test development.
Technical Skills
- Strong proficiency with NI hardware (PXI, cRIO, DAQ, FPGA).
- Expertise in LabVIEW, TestStand, and real-time/embedded systems.
- Familiarity with communications protocols (Ethernet, Serial, CAN, Modbus, etc.).
- experience in PLC and Industrial Automation
- Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and software system interfaces.
- Experience in aerospace, defense, maritime, or other regulated industries is highly desirable.

- Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
