Allied Universal is hiring Security Operations Center Officers to oversee a Corporate Building in the Columbus Circle of Manhattan, * Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
- Monitor closed circuit television systems and alarms.
- Monitor and operate facility computers systems regularly, as assigned.
- Handle security issues or emergency situations appropriately. Contact Emergency Services, such as EMT, Fire Dept., etc.
- Analyze security data, incident reports, and trends to identify vulnerabilities or risks
- Conduct threat assessments and provide actionable intelligence to leadership.
- Respond to and document security incidents, ensuring proper escalation when necessary.
- Coordinate with local law enforcement, emergency services, and internal stakeholders during incidents.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and standard operating guidelines.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly security reports for management.
- Support investigations through evidence collection, documentation, and analysis.
- Conduct audits of security systems and recommend improvements.
- Assist in training security personnel on protocols and emergency response procedures.
Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent

SOC Operator experience

Minimum of two years of security experience

Client requires proof of HS Diploma/GED

Knowledge of systems such as Lenel ans C-Cure
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of risk assessment methodologies.
- Familiarity with emergency management protocols.
- Advanced report writing and briefing skills.
