Job description

As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll play a key role in the development and enhancement of our wholesale products. Working closely with Product, Engineering, and wider cross-functional teams, you'll deliver secure, scalable, and performant solutions that make life easier for our users. Quality matters here. You'll take pride not just in your code, but in the full engineering lifecycle-from design and documentation to testing, deployment, and ongoing improvement.   • Build and deliver high-quality technical solutions using a modern toolset.
  • Write clean, maintainable, efficient code-and help raise engineering standards across the team.
  • Challenge the status quo and help evolve our technologies and ways of working.
  • Perform system and integration testing across your codebase.
  • Troubleshoot issues around scalability, performance, and security.
  • Produce technical documentation for the modules you deliver.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to integrate third-party solutions.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to wider engineering strategies.
  • Review and approve code and technical designs.
  • Mentor and support colleagues within the team.
  • Share knowledge across the wider Cox Automotive engineering community.
