Job description
We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Data Visualisation Consultant to join our thriving Data & AI practice. The successful applicant will be an experienced visualisation developer with a background in Tableau and expertise in calculated metrics, data modelling, and optimising reports.
This role will work closely with our analytical and engineering teams to deliver impactful solutions to clients across a range of industries.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of visualisation dashboards that meet complex data requirements and that present information in a clear and concise manner
- Understand user needs and translate this into visually appealing and easy to use solutions
- Leverage vast client data to unlock insights and drive data-driven decision-making
- Perform data analysis, assessing new datasets for potential exploitation opportunities
- Provide rapid impact through wireframing or prototyping
- Demonstrate clean design principles for reporting
- Document designs and solutions for clients
- Support training, adoption and evolution of visualisation solutions
Requirements

Proven track record of designing and building comprehensive dashboard solutions in Tableau

Experienced in collaborative design with business users

Able to perform data blending, data aggregation and complex calculated fields when required

Experience using large data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks or similar

Diligent about quality, ensuring data accuracy and consistency across all visualisations

Confident in presenting dashboards and analysis to senior stakeholders

Capable of quickly understanding client context and demonstrating expertise in their business

Enjoy staying up-to-date with best practices and industry trends
Knowledge and experience of the following would be advantageous:
- Hands on experience with SQL and knowledge of data warehousing and dimensional modelling
- Proficiency in Power BI
- Industry experience in the Telco, Financial Services (ideally insurance, banking and pensions) and Healthcare and /or Life Science sectors.
