Job description
Assume technical responsibility for the provision and further development of Platform Services. This role combines responsibility for both internal and customer facing DevOps within the overall MACH team. Supporting the MACH Hybrid Integration platform (Medical Application Connection Hub) for our global clients., * Technical responsibility for DevOps
- Involved in design, architecture, standardisation and automation of Kubernetes-based solutions
- Customer and internal development engagement
The Mid-Level DevOps Engineer is a key member of the DevOps Team working in collaboration with our Development and Operations Teams to ensure that the MACH platform is delivered on time and to our customer satisfaction., The key to our success is due to building the right teams and empowering them to do what they do best. - Demonstrates technical curiosity, and is fascinated by software technology and its challenges, * Subject excellence in the respective field (DevOps or Platform Engineering) - 3-5 years
- Proficiency in Collaboration Tools (e.g., Webex, Slack, Microsoft Teams
- Working knowledge of modern observability solutions (Opensearch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)
- Working knowledge of server administration (Windows, Linux)
- Hands-on experience of container technologies and orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Hands-on experience in CI/CD (Gitlab CI, Jenkins, ArgoCD)
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g. Terraform, AWS CloudFormation).
- Hands-on experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Infrastructure and Code Security Awareness
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals
- Working knowledge of agile working methods (e.g. SCRUM, Kanban)
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git), including branching strategies and merge workflows
- Working knowledge of SQL/databases
- Solution orientated - Strong problem-solving skills and ownership mindset in dynamic, agile environments.
- Taking ownership for work, being results orientated and demonstrating a hands-on mentality.
- Communication Skills: Written and oral. Effective communicator, comfortable collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders, * Experience in healthcare IT, or familiarity with HL7, FHIR, or DICOM standards.
- Exposure to identity and access management (e.g. Keycloak, OAuth2, SSO).
- Experience with secrets management (e.g. Vault, AWS Secrets Manager).
- Experience working with or building internal developer platforms (IDPs).
- Prior experience working with distributed/international teams.
- Industry certifications in AWS, Kubernetes or Terraform
- Graduation in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
