If you are missing any of the items above, your packet may be held up at the final review step., This position participates in planning, programming, testing and documentation of technical projects for the Application Development and Support Bureau, Division of Technology and Innovation, within the Florida Department of Education. This position assists the senior developers in all phases of application development lifecycle. Requirements

Knowledge, skills and abilities, including utilization of quipment, required for the position: Knowledge of the principles, practices and techniques of computer programming and systems analysis design; knowledge of computer flowcharting techniques; knowledge of mathematics; knowledge of computer operations, procedures, and systems; ability to process information logically; ability to design systems logic and/or process information logically; ability to analyze and interpret computer program data. Skills in web and client/server applications development using Microsoft SQL/Server, Microsoft .NET (C# and VB), and SQL Server Reporting Services. Skill in the use of SQL data reporting techniques, plus oral and written communications skills. Ability to plan, organize and coordinate work assignments; ability to communicate technical data processing information effectively. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Preferences will be given to: Applicants with experience or training in Azure AD identity management implementation, including B2B / B2C; Experience with ASP.Net with C# or .Net CORE. CAREER SERVICE LEAVE INFORMATION:

  • Annual Leave - Employees in Senior Management Service and Selected Exempt Service positions are credited with 176 hours of annual leave upon appointment. In subsequent years, the annual allotment is credited on the anniversary date of the initial appointment.

  • Sick Leave - Employees in Senior Management Service and Selected Exempt Service positions shall be credited with 104 hours of sick leave upon appointment. In subsequent years, the annual allotment is credited on the anniversary date of initial appointment.
