Job description
Arcadis is seeking a GIS Specialist for to assist Engineers, Scientists, and Project Managers with tasks associated with water infrastructure project work. This role offers flexibility and can be based out of any Arcadis office across the United States.
As part of our GIS and data management team, you'll work across multiple teams to provide GIS and database support to projects with water utility clients. Projects focus on database management and implementation, spatial analysis, and GIS implementation including ESRI based ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Enterprise, mobile applications, and web applications.
Requirements
Perform data analysis, create web-based GIS products, produce documentation communicating findings and recommendations, and build out knowledge of database development and programming.
The candidate will have demonstrated experience in information management and geographic information systems. Experience with the ESRI suite of desktop, web, and mobile tools and technologies is a must for this position. Experience with data analysis or database development is also a plus.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable in a client facing role and have experience creating guides and documentation. They will also be highly organized as they will be supporting multiple projects concurrently., * Bachelor's Degree, preferably STEM related
- 2 years of experience
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with the Office 365 suite of tools
- Solid foundational knowledge of SQL
- Solid foundational knowledge of Python or R
- Strong technical GIS skills, especially the ESRI Suite of Products.
- Excellent problem solver
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Detail Oriented
- Ability to work independently to develop solutions to problems using relevant technologies
- Ability to work on a team of people with a variety of backgrounds and expertise

We offer nine paid holidays and 15 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $65,000 - $100,000/year. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and location.
