Job description
We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing IT Developer III to join our cleints team in the Trenton/Aiken, SC area. This role is critical in bridging manufacturing operations with advanced IT solutions, ensuring seamless integration between production systems and enterprise software. The ideal candidate will leverage deep expertise in Wonderware, T-SQL, and .NET technologies to develop, implement, and support industrial automation applications. You will take full ownership of projects from initial design through post-implementation support, working collaboratively within a dynamic team to drive operational efficiency and system reliability in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain industrial automation applications using Wonderware and related platforms.

Write and optimize advanced T-SQL queries and stored procedures for data acquisition and reporting.

Develop and support web-based and desktop applications using VB.NET, ADO.NET, and ASP.NET.

Integrate PLC data into enterprise systems using Kepware and other data acquisition tools.

Lead projects from concept to deployment, including requirements gathering, development, testing, and post-implementation support.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues, implement enhancements, and ensure system stability.

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers and IT staff.

Requirements

5+ years of hands-on experience in manufacturing environments.

Demonstrated proficiency in .NET development with a focus on VB.NET, ADO.NET, and ASP.NET.

Advanced knowledge of T-SQL programming and database optimization.

Extensive experience with Wonderware software tools and industrial control system integration.

Proven ability to own and deliver projects end-to-end, from design to post-implementation support.

Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset with a track record of working effectively in team settings.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related IT discipline.

Experience with Kepware and other PLC data acquisition platforms is highly preferred.

Familiarity with classic ASP and handheld Zebra devices/scanners is a plus.
