Software Engineer, Platform - Buffalo, NY, USA

The Software Engineer, Platform role is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining backend APIs and services crucial to the company's product infrastructure. This position ensures the scalability, performance, and reliability of APIs that support both public and internal functions, contributing directly to the overall product strategy and user experience. The role is key to enabling business growth and customization for enterprise clients, requiring strategic thinking and collaboration across teams.

3. Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust public and internal APIs including TTS, Payment, Subscription, Auth, and Consumption Tracking

• Manage and optimize the backend API infrastructure for performance and maintainability

• Collaborate on B2B solutions focused on customization and integration for enterprise clients

• Work with cross-functional teams to align backend architecture with product strategy and user experience

• Proven experience in backend development with TypeScript and Node.js (required)

• Direct experience with Google Cloud Platform; knowledge of AWS, Azure, or other cloud providers

• Ability to prioritize and implement tasks efficiently based on urgency and impact

• Preferred experience with Docker and containerized deployments

• Preferred proficiency in deploying high availability applications on Kubernetes

5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:

• The United States based salary range for this role is 140,000-200,000 USD per year, plus bonus and stock options depending on experience
