Job description
Assist in leading architecture, design, development, and analysis of software systems. Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable software solutions. Perform system-level analyses to identify risks, issues, and opportunities. Lead code reviews to ensure alignment with requirements and standards. Oversee product and process reviews to ensure compliance with project plans and industry standards. Research and implement emerging technologies, tools, and frameworks. Support development, design reviews, and customer coordination in secure environments.
Requirements
Active Top Secret U.S. Security Clearance with ability to obtain SCI access. 10+ years of experience in computer science fundamentals, object-oriented design, and software patterns. Experience with space/satellite ground mission systems or related domains. Experience leading software development through the full lifecycle. Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). Experience with programming languages and technologies such as Java, C++, Python, JavaScript (React, jQuery UI, OpenLayers), Spring, Hibernate. Experience with databases (RDBMS, MongoDB) and APIs (REST, OpenAPI). Familiarity with tools such as Maven, Gradle, Git, Jenkins. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure). Knowledge of Agile, TDD, DevSecOps, and CI/CD practices. Experience in technical leadership roles (TLE, Software Lead, Architect, Chief Engineer). Experience with hardware/software integration, testing, or lab environments. Strong SQL and database design experience; familiarity with ETL processes (e.g., SSIS). Experience with control systems, embedded/FPGA systems, low-latency systems, or sensor/antenna interfaces., Must be a U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, or protected individual under 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) to comply with ITAR regulations.
