Job description

Assure Technical is seeking a Technical Delivery Project Manager, responsible for ensuring our service portfolio is delivered to the highest technical, operational and service standards. This includes CREST-Approved Penetration Testing, ISO 27001 Consultancy, Cyber Essentials, and Defence Cyber Certification.

Reporting to the Managing Director and working collaboratively with the wider management team, the successful candidate will ensure that our processes are streamlined and security experts are deployed optimally to maximise efficiency and minimise friction in service delivery., Technical Project Governance & Delivery

  • Operational Orchestration: Own the technical project lifecycle, managing complex security engagements from initiation through to the delivery of final technical reports.
  • Strategic Partnership: Collaborate daily with the CTO to align project delivery with evolving technical security standards and internal security methodologies.
  • Resource & Capacity Planning: Partner with the Client Services Manager & Business Development Manager to ensure project scoping includes appropriate resourcing, and that client expectations are balanced with technical resource capacity to ensure optimal utilisation and project velocity without compromising rigorous quality standards.
  • Process Optimisation: Continuously audit and improve our technical project management frameworks, using data-driven insights to reduce delivery friction and improve project margins.

Quality Assurance & Technical Integrity

  • Technical Compliance: Ensure all deliverables-including vulnerability assessments and compliance audits-adhere to strict internal standards and external regulatory frameworks (ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials, DCC).
  • Final Technical Review: Act as the technical gatekeeper for all client-facing reports, ensuring technical accuracy, depth of insight, and alignment with client-specific security postures.
  • Framework Management: Maintain documentation and templates to ensure compliance with shifting industry standards, ensuring the technical team remains "audit-ready" at all times.

Stakeholder Management

  • Collaboration: Work in close partnership with the Client Services Manager & Business Development Manager to manage client expectations, and with the CTO & Delivery Team Leader to manage technical output, serving as the connective tissue that drives customer success.
  • Business Translation: Act as the primary technical advocate for our clients, ensuring appropriate translation of complex security vulnerabilities and technical audit findings into business-aligned risk language.
  • Performance Reporting: Maintain rigorous project tracking and KPI reporting, presenting delivery health and resource utilisation metrics to the senior leadership team., * Technical Delivery Excellence: Consistency in meeting all technical milestones and SLA requirements.
  • Operational Synergy: Effectiveness of the partnership with the Client Services Manager and CTO in maintaining high client satisfaction scores.
  • Resource Efficiency: Alignment between initial technical estimations and actual delivery timeframes.
  • Quality Thresholds: Maintenance of our 4.9* Trustpilot rating through high-quality, actionable technical output.

Requirements

  • Professional Experience: 3+ years in a technical project or delivery management role within a cybersecurity or professional services environment.
  • Technical Literacy: A robust understanding of cybersecurity landscapes, specifically vulnerability management (Pen Testing) and compliance frameworks (Cyber Essentials/ISO 27001).
  • Precision & Quality Assurance: A proven ability to maintain rigorous attention to detail, ensuring technical accuracy and high-quality standards are upheld throughout the entire project lifecycle.
  • Project Methodologies: Proven experience managing cross-functional technical teams using modern project management software.
  • Collaborative Mindset: Demonstrated success working in cross-functional leadership structures to balance technical delivery and commercial client satisfaction.
  • Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate effectively with bo, * Cybersecurity Focus: 3+ years of direct experience in the cybersecurity sector.
  • Technical Tools: Experience with ClickUp or similar project management platforms.
  • Certification: Formal qualifications such as PRINCE2, ITIL, or Agile/Scrum Master certifications.
