Job description
Harmony Auto is seeking an experienced and technically capable IT Manager to oversee and manage IT infrastructure and support operations across our growing national dealership network under the Finance Compliance Team. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, security, and efficiency of all IT systems while supporting multiple locations across the UK. This position can be based in London, Lakeside, Bristol, or Warwick and will require regular travel between branches to support server installations, system maintenance, and new site setups., * Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware, software, servers, and network systems across all company locations.
- Manage and maintain Windows Server environments and ensure the stability and performance of network infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and system issues across all branches in a timely manner.
- Act as the primary point of contact for IT-related queries and provide technical support to employees.
- Ensure systems operate efficiently, securely, and in compliance with IT security standards and electrical safety requirements.
- Manage antivirus and endpoint security systems to maintain data protection and system security.
- Plan and implement system upgrades to ensure compatibility and efficiency across all devices and platforms.
- Support the installation and configuration of IT infrastructure for new dealership sites.
- Manage and maintain business systems including databases, internal web pages, CCTV systems, and group email platforms.
- Oversee the company telephone system and ensure its reliability across all locations.
- Diagnose and resolve server-related issues and support server deployment where required.
- Conduct testing and evaluation of new hardware and software prior to implementation.
- Maintain clear and accurate technical documentation for systems, processes, and procedures.
- Manage relationships with third-party IT vendors, service providers, and telecommunications partners.
- Work closely with Facility Officer and oversee IT asset management including procurement process, tracking, allocation, maintenance coordination, and repairs.
- Work closely with management and departmental teams to deliver IT solutions that support business operations and growth.
Requirements
Do you have a valid Driving License license?, Do you have experience in Windows?, * Proven experience managing or supporting IT operations within a business environment.
- Experience working with Microsoft Intune and endpoint management systems.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, networks, and enterprise system administration.
- Experience with hardware installation, troubleshooting, and system deployment.
- Familiarity with CCTV systems and telephone systems within a commercial environment.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to support users across different departments.
- Valid UK driving licence.
- Willingness to travel and support all branches across the UK (London, Lakeside, Bristol, Warwick).
- Must have the Right to Work in the UK.
