Job description

As our Business Systems ERP/DB Analyst (Oracle PL/SQL & APEX Developer), you will play a key role in the design, development, enhancement and support of our company-wide Oracle ERP platform, with a strong focus on Oracle PL/SQL development and Oracle APEX application delivery.

You will be responsible for building and maintaining robust database solutions, custom ERP extensions and APEX applications that deliver secure, scalable and high-performance business functionality, providing a first-class business systems support service with a proactive, customer- and business-focused approach.

You Will Be Responsible For:

  • Designing, developing and maintaining Oracle PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, triggers and SQL queries to support ERP processes and integrations.
  • Developing, enhancing and supporting Oracle APEX applications, including UI/UX improvements, security, reporting and workflow automation.
  • Designing and enhancing Oracle APEX user interfaces using HTML, CSS and JavaScript, including custom templates, dynamic actions, client-side validation and interactive components to improve usability and user experience.
  • Supporting and evolving the new Oracle ERP system implementation, including customisations, data models, interfaces and reporting.
  • Supporting business analytics and data extraction requirements, including legacy ERP data and other connected systems during and after transition.
  • Performing system testing, regression testing and data validation, ensuring changes meet business and technical standards.
  • Working closely with stakeholders to translate business requirements into well-designed PL/SQL and APEX solutions.
  • Contributing to database performance tuning, data quality, security and documentation best practices.

The role will report to the Business Systems & IT Director and will work closely with IT, business stakeholders and external partners to ensure Oracle-based systems are reliable, well-supported and aligned to business needs.
