Job description

We're looking for a Junior Systems & Data Analyst to help strengthen how we support the business across systems and data. Reporting into the Director of Data & IT, you'll work closely with the Systems & Data team to keep our core systems running smoothly and our reporting accurate, reliable and trusted.

This is a hybrid role, with three days a week based in our Bermondsey office, working closely with the team and wider business., * Support the administration of core business systems, including BI, CRM, asset and project management platforms.

  • Maintaining and updating reports and dashboards in tools such as Power BI and Excel.
  • Performing data quality checks, resolving issues and escalating where required.
  • Working with our Data Analyst to create and check new reporting and insights.
  • Working with our Systems Manager on system configuration tasks such as setting up fields, properties, and automations.
  • Support with testing system updates, new features, and escalating issues where required.
  • Carrying out user management in line with our onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Assisting with providing application and reporting support to the wider business, using our service desk to manage and respond to requests.
  • Maintaining systems and reporting technical documentation and user guides.
  • Work closely with the Systems & Data team to support current projects and priorities, gaining experience and developing skills across systems and data as the role evolves.
  • Ensuring all work undertaken follows the company's data security, privacy, and compliance guidelines when handling sensitive information.

Requirements

  • You have at least 1 year of experience working with data, reporting or systems.
  • You are comfortable working with Excel, using it to analyse and understand data.
  • You have strong attention to detail and take pride in producing accurate, reliable work.
  • You're organised and able to manage multiple tasks, keeping track of priorities and follow ups.
  • You have a logical, methodical approach and enjoy spotting issues, inconsistencies, or opportunities for improvement.
  • You're confident communicating with others, asking questions when you're unsure, and escalating issues appropriately.
  • You're keen to learn new tools, systems, and processes as part of a supportive team, including developing your skills in automation tools (Zapier) and data analysis tools (Power BI).
  • You have an interest in new and emerging technologies, including AI, and how they can be applied in a practical business context.

It would be great (but not essential) if you had some experience of:

  • Power Query in Excel
  • BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker Studio
  • Automation tools such as Power Automate, Zapier, or Make.com
  • CRM apps such as HubSpot, Salesforce or Dynamics
  • Project Management apps such as Monday.com, Asana or ClickUp
  • Using SQL to query or extract data
  • Creating or updating technical documentation and user guides
