Senior IT Consultant

We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Consultant to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in delivering innovative IT solutions, supporting clients across various industries, and ensuring optimal utilisation of technology platforms. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex projects involving cloud services, databases, and operating systems, contributing to the organisation's strategic technological growth., * Lead the design, development, and implementation of IT solutions tailored to client needs, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and SDLC methodologies.

• Provide expert advice on cloud computing platforms such as AWS and Azure, assisting clients in migrating and managing their infrastructure effectively.
• Develop and optimise SQL databases and utilise programming languages including Python and Java to create customised solutions.
• Manage and support operating systems including Windows and Linux, ensuring system stability, security, and performance optimisation.
• Integrate APIs for seamless data exchange between applications and services, enhancing system interoperability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop DevOps pipelines that streamline deployment processes and improve continuous integration.
• Conduct technical assessments, troubleshoot complex issues, and recommend scalable solutions to improve operational efficiency.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging technologies in IT, DevOps practices, and cloud services to provide innovative insights to clients.

• Proven experience as an IT Consultant or similar role with a strong background in cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.
• Proficiency in SQL database management and scripting languages including Python; Java experience is advantageous.
• Extensive knowledge of operating systems such as Windows and Linux environments.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools, SDLC processes, APIs integration, and system security protocols.
• Strong understanding of Oracle databases and enterprise-level IT infrastructure management.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyse complex technical issues swiftly.
• Relevant certifications in cloud computing (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect) or related fields are desirable.
