Electronics Test Support Engineer

The role involves supporting a wide range of electronic and computer-controlled Automated Test Equipment across our production facility in Eastbourne. We are looking for a practical, hands-on engineer who can provide first-line troubleshooting for test-related issues as they arise. You will work on a variety of tasks including equipment fault-finding, fixture repairs, preventative maintenance, and responding to Test Support tickets. The role also supports engineering activities such as assisting with the redesign of legacy test stations and participating in the validation or commissioning of duplicated test systems.

We are seeking a multi-disciplined electronic test support engineer with a minimum of 3 years' experience supporting automated or semi-automated electronic test systems in a manufacturing environment., * Strong understanding of electronics theory and practical troubleshooting techniques.

• Ability to read and work from electronic schematics and system diagrams.
• Familiarity with test automation environments (e.g., C#, LabVIEW, Python or relevant tools).
• Good interpersonal skills with the ability to work closely with engineers, managers, and production staff.
• A structured and logical approach to diagnosing links between hardware, instrumentation, and software.
• Ability to provide robust, timely fixes to keep production flowing.
• Hands-on experience with electronic test fixtures, instrumentation, and test equipment., * Degree, HNC, or HND in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Test Engineering, or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in test engineering or production test support.
