Design Engineer

We are hiring for our client, a fast-paced manufacturing facility, seeking a skilled Design Engineer to join their team. The successful candidate will report to the Engineering Manager and will be responsible for the development and improvement of existing manufacturing and production control processes. This is an excellent opportunity for a design engineer to play a key role in the successful production planning and manufacturing of buckets and couplers within a dynamic manufacturing environment., * Creation & maintenance of Bill of Materials for Production & New Product Development

• Processing Production & Engineering Change Orders
• Processing Machine Spec Changes
• Providing production support to the Manufacturing Department
• Assisting in monthly Sales & Operations Planning cycle
• Creating & maintaining production schedules
• Leading continuous improvement projects

• Minimum HNC / HND in Mechanical Engineering or similiar qualification or extensive relevant experience
• Working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems (Infor) is advantageous
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and 3D modelling software
• Strong multi-tasking and attention to detail skills
• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Excellent organisational skills and logical problem-solving abilities

• Competitive salary range: £35,000 - £40,000 per year
