Job description
- Support the implementation of infrastructure solutions following established designs and standards.
- Assist with the maintenance and monitoring of infrastructure components (compute, storage, network, OS, tooling).
- Help diagnose and resolve routine technical issues, escalating complex problems to senior engineers when needed.
- Contribute to system health checks, patching cycles, and environment monitoring activities.
- Work collaboratively with application, architecture, and security teams to support change and service improvements.
- Support documentation updates for infrastructure, tooling, processes, and configuration items.
- Help with installation, configuration, and basic troubleshooting of infrastructure hardware/software under guidance.
- Contribute to automation tasks (e.g., basic scripts) to improve efficiency.
Requirements
- Infrastructure Knowledge ,understanding of servers, networks, storage, operating systems.
- Scripting/Programming familiarity with Python, PowerShell or similar.
- Cloud Fundamentals awareness of cloud concepts (IaaS, PaaS).
- System Integration good understanding how components communicate within an IT environment.
Desirable skills/experience:
- Exposure to virtualisation technologies
- Experience with automation tools or CI/CD concepts
- Knowledge of monitoring tools
- Understanding of incident and change management processes
